Denia is the largest of the towns we cover and the one with the most apartments. The centre, Las Marinas and Las Rotas behave quite differently from the villa urbanisations elsewhere in the comarca.

In apartments, the common jobs are running cisterns, taps, blocked traps and damp in internal bathrooms — plus a fair amount of furniture assembly, given how often tenants change.

In Las Marinas, it is front-line salt air: mosquito screens falling apart, awnings and blinds with seized runners, and ceiling and wall fans that the salt air wears sooner than inland.

One thing worth knowing: if a leak comes from a soil stack or a communal area, it is the community’s responsibility, not yours. We will say so clearly so you don’t pay for something that isn’t yours.
